Treatment Modalities
Healing Ways is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals, couples, families, and groups. Our approach focuses on holistic healing, integrating evidence-based therapies tailored to meet each client's unique needs. We believe in the power of collaboration and work closely with our clients to create personalized treatment plans that promote growth and healing.
Some modalities our therapists are experts in include:

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT): TF-CBT is a specific form of cognitive-behavioral therapy specially adapted for individuals who have experienced trauma. It incorporates techniques designed to help individuals process and work through traumatic experiences.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): One of the most extensively researched and empirically supported forms of therapy. It is highly effective for disorders such as depression, anxiety, panic disorders, phobias, and eating disorders. It focuses on identifying and modifying dysfunctional thinking patterns, behaviors, and emotional responses.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Originally developed to treat borderline personality disorder, DBT has also been found effective for treating mood disorders, suicidal ideation, and substance abuse problems. It integrates cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices. It emphasizes the psychosocial aspects of treatment and focuses on improving emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Interpersonal Therapy (IPT): IPT is highly effective for depression and has been adapted for a range of other mental health issues, including eating disorders and bipolar disorder. It helps patients to express their emotions healthily and improve their communication patterns.
